Bespoke Furniture Maker in Hythe, Kent

Attune started the way most good things do. Not with a business plan, but with a feeling.

A passion for the outdoors and the English countryside. I try wherever possible to bring this into my work. I started building pieces for my own home and for the people I love. Furniture that was meant to last. Pieces that would still belong in a room one hundred years from now. It turned out other people wanted that too.

The workshop

I work out of my workshop in Hythe, Kent. It is where every Attune piece begins and ends. Just me, the tools, and Maple my dog.

Wherever possible I use timber sourced locally to Kent, and when that is not possible, from within the UK. I want to know where the wood came from and as much about its life as a tree. Using a selection of materials including oak, cherry, walnut, ash. Chosen for character as much as stability. That matters because it affects what I make, and because giving the material the respect and time it deserves is part of the process.

Every piece that leaves this workshop has been thought about carefully, built slowly, and made to be part of your daily life for a long time. Whatever project you have in mind, I would love to help.
