Design
Each piece starts with a conversation, establishing a brief in which revisions are completed until you are entirely satisfied with the design. All bespoke commissions include a design fee, 10% of the total piece value. This process can vary in time depending on the complexity of the project, you will be given a lead time for your design package upon enquiry.
Material
We work with local saw mills as well as other great suppliers of native timber. We believe the character such as knots, ripples & natural edges should be celebrated for the beauty they hold. If you would prefer your commission to not include these then please just notify us at the start of your enquiry.
Production
Towards the end of the design process, if you wish to proceed, a production start date will be provided. A 50% deposit is required to secure this date & the material for your project. Lead times for bespoke commissions are generally 12 weeks. Projects have been and can be completed quicker, get in touch as soon as possible if this is required. During the making, you will be updated via email at all key stages. This will include some in workshop photographs and videos. You are welcome opt out of receiving this just let us know.
Delivery
Once your project is completed, the final 50% & delivery fee is required before your project leaves the workshop. Delivery costs will be given at the start of the process, separate to project costs. We can deliver using a fully insured courier or if you wish for a higher level of service this is something we are happy to provide. All will be discussed once the understand the scale of your project.
